Being In “That Place”

Exodus 33:21 Then the Lord said, there is a place near me where you may stand.

Opinion polls are fickle! The children of Israel forget in forty days all God did for them in forty years. While Moses was at the top of the mountain with God, they were at the bottom worshipping a golden calf. If we seek to do anything significant for God, then here’s a lesson we must learn; love the people & lead them, but listen to God ONLY!

The Lord told Moses, “There’s a place near me where you can be.” That should be the goal and passion of our lives. To find “that place” and stay in it. When Moses was there, he could handle anything. He received a revelation there and built a relationship with God. Also while in “that place” next to the Lord, he was given clear guidance how to lead Israel to their inheritance. However, outside of “that place,” Moses was no different from the crowd and neither are we without God.

The Lord has called you to something or somewhere specific, embrace that place. Minister out of “that place”& relate to those around you from “that place.” Do you business out of “that place” with God. Raise your family from “that place” near to Him. Remember this is not just any place, this is the space right beside Him! Nothing in your life is more important than being there with Him!
