Who are you living for?

2 Corinthians 5:15 ~
Those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again.

The fire on the altar of incense was lit from the fire on the altar of sacrifice. It takes sacrifice to pray. We must give up our self-life. The Lord is not after a few minutes of our day, He wants our every thought taken captive and brought into obedience to Him.

The apostle Paul is one of the great examples of dying daily. He did all things for the sake of the gospel. He sacrificed His own safety, will, and comfort to serve the Lord and His people. Paul’s great effectiveness is tied to the degree of which he laid down his life for the purposes of God.

Are you willing to do that today? There is power in sacrifice and obedience. Who are you living for today?
